PDF Inspector FAQ

Does this show every metadata field?

No. It only shows details that PDF.js and the file header can reliably provide.

Can this tell whether a PDF is encrypted?

An encrypted document that cannot be opened is reported as encrypted or unsupported; no unsupported metadata is invented.

Does PDF Inspector upload my data?

No. Processing happens inside this browser tab and input content is not included in WhaleTu analytics.

Is PDF Inspector free to use?

Yes. No account is required.
